Transport Impact Study for a new four-lane road connection from the Irbid Ring Road to the Princess Basma Hospital area, improving accessibility and traffic flow across the surrounding network.
The project involves the planning and assessment of a new road connection from the Irbid Ring Road to the new Princess Basma Hospital area in Irbid. The proposed connection is designed to improve accessibility, reduce travel time, enhance traffic flow, and support the increasing residential, healthcare, and commercial activities within the surrounding area. The new road link consists of a four-lane roadway with two lanes in each direction, developed in accordance with approved engineering and road safety standards. Commissioned by Madi & Partners Consulting Engineers for the Ministry of Investment, our team conducted a comprehensive Transport Impact Study, including traffic counts, road network analysis, and evaluation of the proposed connection. The assignment also included coordination with relevant authorities and support in obtaining the required approvals. The study assessed existing and future traffic conditions and provided engineering recommendations and mitigation measures to improve traffic operations, accessibility, and safety across the surrounding road network.
