Aqaba BASSYOUNI EV Charging Station

Project Overview

The BASSYOUNI EV Charging Station is a pioneering development in Aqaba and represents one of the first dedicated electric vehicle charging hubs in the area. The project includes 8 EV charging stations with dedicated parking bays, offering both fast and standard charging services. The facility also incorporates supporting amenities including shaded parking, showroom and retail spaces, traveler rest areas, and a rooftop café, creating an integrated destination for EV users and visitors. Commissioned by Bassyouni & Partner Company, our team conducted a comprehensive Traffic Impact Study, including traffic surveys, road network assessment, and analysis of site access and circulation. The assignment also included coordination with relevant authorities and support in securing the required approvals. The study evaluated existing and future traffic conditions associated with the development and provided engineering recommendations and mitigation measures to enhance traffic flow, accessibility, and operational safety within the project area.
