Project Overview

This study, developed in coordination with Saudi Aramco, focused on revalidating the previous Traffic Impact Study and defining the Detailed Budget and Scope Planning (DBSP) transport requirements for Phase II of the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK). Our team provided comprehensive transport master planning, traffic impact assessment, road and interchange evaluations including the Western Peripheral Road and Highway 615, parking demand analysis, and advanced traffic modeling and simulation using VISUM and VISSIM. Addressing projected growth of up to 113,000 employees and complex multi-phase integration, the study delivered strategic modeling scenarios, Level of Service assessments, and targeted mitigation measures. The approved study established a clear road hierarchy, optimized intersection performance, enhanced accessibility, and supported sustainable, multimodal mobility aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
