Project Overview

Conducted for Al-Dana Development and prepared for Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), this study assessed the development's effects on surrounding intersections and road networks, ensuring compliance with GAM standards and maintaining acceptable Levels of Service (LOS). Our team conducted traffic surveys, trip generation analysis, and advanced modeling using VISUM, Synchro, and VISSIM to evaluate both current and projected traffic scenarios. Innovative solutions — including a counter-clockwise one-way loop system, signal optimization, ramp redesign, and lane widening — were proposed to mitigate congestion, enhance safety, and improve pedestrian circulation. The project delivered clear insights into network performance, identified required infrastructure upgrades, and provided practical, implementable recommendations that balanced efficiency, safety, and mobility for this high-growth area of Amman.
